Marion Georgia - "It may not completely solve the recession but it's a step in the right direction". Edward Davidson of Thulehart Development said today announcing the ground breaking of a new 200,000 square foot Apps factory to be located in Marion Georgia.
The company is hoping to hire at least 500 people for just stage one. There will be openings for craftsmen with just about any skill.
In the manufacturing department, the company we will need at least 300 people to man the metal presses and machines needed to make a high quality App.
Shipping and receiving will offer opportunities to people possibly with lesser skills.
When asked why now, he replied, "Why not now? The demand for a finely made App will only skyrocket. People say America can't make a fine product anymore but I say they are dead wrong".
This may not be a forest but in this reporter's eyes it surely is a green shoot.
