An offer to provide a TV set free for just the post and package of the set is being studied by a Government Committee set up to look into this and that. 'Rather more this than that' said Chief Executive, Moonie Ponkers.
The Government wants the This & That Committee to make its report before next April, when the offer is coming to an end. Jeremy Hunt, Minister of Idiocy, told a press conference today that he wants to make sure any televisions provided under the scheme are working and will not blow up on arrival.
Anna Log, who is making the once in a lifetime offer told massed reporters outside her home in St Ives, Cornwall that the offer was too good to miss. 'With just £50 post and package a TV set will be yours to enjoy. All your favourite programmes will be at your fingertips absolutely free.'
Asked if there were any snags to the offer Anna said there were no snags and anybody not fully satisfied could return the set for another £50.
