HARFOLD, Vt.--Occupy Wall Street protesters continued to appear this week in towns across the nation which clearly no one, including presidential candidates, gives a shit about.
Seven senior citizens sat in chairs in the parking lot of the Harfold Credit Union, not really able to explain why they were there.
One carried a sign reading, "My kids graduated in the 70s. Why am I still paying for crappy schools?"
Lifetime Harfold resident Barnard Edgecomb, 73, weighed in, saying, "If this protesting is about the stock market, I can tell you this: we never learned about it here, and that's wrong. We grew up saving until we had enough money to buy things.
"Then came credit cards which made us realize what a stupid idea all that saving was."
