England 3 Sweden 2 // Euro 2012 // France 2 Ukraine 0 // Group D

SO Sweden are eliminated from the tournament after two straight defeats, but it could have been so different after leading 2-1 with both goals from veteran defender Olef Mellberg. England put in a performance completely different from their defensive draw with France on Monday with goals from Carroll, Walcott and Welbeck.

Of course, I named Theo Walcott in my squad for the 2006 World cup in Germany and I think the experience of being around international players has helped his career, especially tonight. Just a shame he did it against the country of my birth!
