Diamond Jubilee Update: Day 3. The Buckingham Palace concert.

Poor old Philip had to go to hospital after a bladder infection after four hours on the Thames on sunday in poor weather. He missed the concert completely - the lucky bugger!

I had to go, but I turned up halfway through - thankfully missing half of the acts - and wore earplugs for the rest of the show.

Well today is still a bank holiday for my subjects - but at last I can have a nice cup of tea, put me feet up and watch the final of the Apprentice which I taped from sunday night. Deliberately not bought any newspapers as I don't want to know who won in advance!
