The Palace have told me that I cannot go to Euro 2012 in the summer to support the England football team in my role as president of the FA!

This is because of protests over the alleged treatment of former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko who is currently in jail.

Bugger! I was looking forward to a few weeks away with the lads, watching the football, late night dwarf throwing parties in bars, chatting up the birds, generally letting my hair down.

I suppose I could always go in disguise. Harry could get me a ginger wig.
