I've had to brush off suggestions that my fellow Liberal Democrat Cabinet member Vince Cable is being "courted" by Ed Miliband.

Of course he is... but best not to bring any attention to it.

Speculation on a "Lab-Lib love in" has increased after Mr Miliband said he is in regular text message contact with Mr Cable and if the Business Secretary wanted to talk to his party about the future then he would be "open for business".
