With things being how they are at the moment, it took me a good while to formulate an opening speech to boost the morale of my party members, in an effort to boost their ego for the forthcoming local elections in the weeks time.

I settled for:
"Liberal Democrats are 'delivering for ordinary people' within the Tory-led coalition!" As I rallied party activists! ahead of local elections.

I must thank my son Miguel for that one! I was lost on what to say!
