Gree, Vodafone and Barclays are some of the companies making long-term investments in the capital's technology hub Tech City.

This after I appealed to technology firms to invest in the UK during a series of Olympics-inspired business summits.

My family having shares in these companies had not effect on their decision to invest I'm sure.
