A gay music festival set to be headlined by moi, Sir Elton John, in London this summer has been cancelled. The culprit? The summer Olympics, being held in London.

Pride House was to be held on Clapham Common in the British capital during the Olympics to raise awareness of homophobia in sports.

Some sponsors withdrew support and organizers at PAPA Projects admitted the idea was "no longer commercially viable," according to WENN.

Bad times for the Pink pound. Surely the old queen Simon Cowell could have sponsored it with his spare change?
