Former Barclays chief executive Bob Diamond may meet MPs today to explain himself but some politicians may be equally keen to have a word with his daughter Nellie after she took to Twitter to post her views on senior members of the two main parties.

Ms Diamond, who oddly enough works for Deutsche Bank, wrote: "George Osborne and Ed Miliband can go ahead and #hmd," which - in some circles - stands for 'hold my dick'. The tweet was then deleted and replaced by another which read: "No one in the world I admire more than my dad. 16 yrs building Barclays.

I'll have to keep an eye on her!
