Oh Crikey, forgot Mum's birthday. Serious problemo! What with running the country and everything it completely slipped my mind. Still, I have to nip down to Halfords later to get a new bell for the bike so I'll try to get something there for her.

Just got back from Halfords. Unfortunately a reporter followed me in so I had to ask the dude on the check-out if there was anything British for sale. The only thing he could find was a roof-rack for a transit van. Bugger of a job getting it back on the bike. I must have looked a right twonk!

On reflection, I don't think mum's got a transit van so I'm going to have to get her something else now. I'm not going to be able to get to the shops as I'm having my photy taken later and have to practice looking youthful and decisive. I'll ask that woman who lives here and always has the puking kid on her shoulder if she'll pop down to Marks and Sparks and pick up a gift voucher for me.
