The Galaxy was 5-1-2 in its last eight MLS matches, and Dallas has lost only one of its last six MLS games.

Jose Villarreal was only off the bench for a few minutes when he unknotted a tangled match with FC Dallas, leading the LA Galaxy to a 2-0 home win last Sunday.
