Tony's book has been well received and his TV appearances have impressed people. I'm only sorry Gordon was let off so lightly. Tony was too kind. One of his problems.

I must say I felt a bit uneasy about the idea of military action against Iran. Although we have now got out of Iraq I can see a wider problem with Iran. Toppling dinner jacket would be fine and he is not as popular as Saddam was, but the danger is that Tony's peace keeping between Israel and the Palestinians might be jeopardised.

Is there anything Tony can do now to follow up on his book? I favour a Soap - perhaps the Blairites or Coronation Tony. That gives me an idea - perhaps he could help out Charles when the time comes. Tony sorted out things when his ex died. Kept the monarchy in business - he deserves a payback.
