This rumour that I, Sir Bruce Forsyth, 84 years young, am having an affair with Cheryl Cole are completely untrue.

Do you know how I know that? Because I made it up! Mind you, as rumors go, it was a good one, and I enjoyed it immensely for a minute or so after I thought of it. After that I needed an extended afternoon nap!
