Brian Clough - My Fake Diary

Saturday, 8 September 2012

I see England beat Moldova 0-5, I hope Roy, who was lucky enough not to scare the FA selection committee into giving him the job does well.

Dave Langan I see has written his biography. 'Running through Walls'.

I've read it - A native of Ringsend, in Dublin, Dave was brought to England by me when he was a teenager and he went onto become one of the best young full-backs in the English game.

A record breaking move to Birmingham hampered by career threatening injuries saw him written off by many however, true to his Dublin and Irish roots, Dave fought back to defy the odds helping Oxford win promotion to the top flight and the 1986 Milk Cup.

With brutal honesty reminiscent of his playing days Dave Langan tells of his battles both on and off the field.

Fascinating! Nice lad too. (I've met his dad up here you see, he's a nice lad too!)
