I'm looking into plans to build a raised cycle network that will link the capital's mainline rail stations like the High Line in New York.

The proposals are 'very interesting' and would boost my commitment to leading a 'cycling revolution' in the City of London.

The High Line is a park built on an elevated, disused line running through west Manhattan, which enables people to walk and cycle away from the traffic.

There may have to be a charge for cyclist to use it of course…
