i like it here too, for the same reason! it's much more fun to see where my stories go
on the Internet, after they are published here...

you know that if someone bothered to paste your story to another site that they must have liked it a lot!

for example, my most recent story 'Cabinet Made By Jesus Discovered In Jerusalem' went to a blog at a Raleigh North Carlolina TV station! My story only has about 140 views on TheSpoof, but it has almost 300 or more at that blog...plus people comment on it too!

Sometimes stories go viral a few months after you write them too, so you really never know how successful a story might be

I was a bit confused reading that HB...until I realized only the first two sentences are mine.....LOL

I thought 'I don't remember writing that.....then realized it was YOUR reaction to MY 'quote'.

As possibly the most religious (which is a worry) person here I shall start the proceedings,

Dear Spoofers. We are gathered here on this thread to mourn the deactivation of Armfeetandtoe, affectionately called Arm, by the community.

Our status quo has been rocked by these turbulantic events, and may ripple through the ages.

We may not know why. We may not know who he was. But what we do know, is that he was an inspiration, a beacon, a fellow, to us all - the young'uns like me, and the settled Spoofers.

We will commence the 0.5 second silence, and stop typing.

I do hope he doesn't come back in some great big bang or whatever. That would mess this post up, big time.

Thank you LG. Arm was an unknown soul. I never knew him, but I'm sure the most settled of Spoofers have got to know the avatar better than I have.

May this be a reminder, that not all Spoofers are the same. I am no more of a person, or no more of a capable writer than any of us.
