I went through and read Paul's Wikepedia biography. I thought he was spoof worthy.

Here's something else for you not to laugh at (and to get picked up by Google):

In fact, Cal-el has made and posted at least TWO videos for Ron Paul, each one taking him considerable time, sweat and swearing to hear him tell it, so for a citizen, he IS part of the Paul Butt Buddy Club.

I myself LIKE some of the things Ron Paul has to say - but at the bottom he's still a Libertarian. Some of the things they go for aren't very people friendly so I doubt I would vote for him if given the choice. But who knows? It does depend on who else could be running - but it would definitely have to be the lesser of evils.

Despite all ETHAN's noise to the contrary, the bottom line is that 'his' candidate got dissed on and he didn't like it. Period. So, he takes it out on The Spoof in a spoiled little kid shotgun attack. Sounds a bit like an un-appreciated and under-advertised Rush Limbaugh for Ron Paul to me.

I hope he can get a life - perhaps beyond the bit of Sheakespeare he claims to read.

I have always found that the best candidates who actually make the most sense and tell the truth are generally some of the first ones to drop out. They are never left, when the primaries finally reach my state, for me to support.

I have not been able, in good conscience, to vote "for" more than one political candidate for president in my life (it was Dukakis, actually). All of my other votes have been "against" the candidate I dispised the most.

I don't really think Paul will last, though he might become a running mate (based solely on geography) if Guliani is the republican candidate.

Actually, I like the theory that Ethan works for the Onion. Either that or he's a raving lunatic. Hmm ... maybe both?

Thanks for getting us all fired up Ethan.

Oh, and by the way, I thought some of my articles were at least subtly supportive of Ron Paul, like the one about Ron Paul on Health Care, which, by the way, continues to get 8-12 views a day, some 2 weeks after it went live. What is wrong with people these days, reading crap like that?

Ethan is probably an avid Guiliani supporter. Maybe he (or she) is the one who sent me the trojans, worms, and other malware.

Even I don't agree with everything that Ron Paul is for, but for me, he is a clear choice for pushing the reset button on this disaster that the U.S. government has become. I, for instance, don't like the idea of him getting rid of Social Security, but I support almost everything else he stands for.

This is not the bottom line. No one dissed Ron Paul. I never claimed any outrage over anything negative said about Ron Paul. My outrage was over poor non-comedic writing clogging up Google News and making it harder to find real stories. We know that you all can write (or at least type) but a disturbing number of you have trouble reading.

I came back because I am egotistical. When I searched Google News today and saw two articles written about me on the spoof, I was drawn back. I guess this is my 15 minutes of fame. Some people get it on MTV or the evening news. I get it at the spoof. Such is life.

If the Spoof's stories aren't funny and Ethan doesnt claim to be funny then surely he is well qualified to write. He signed up as a writer when he could've just added a post on general discussion. I think Ethan needs to step it up a notch and write something.(other than a post)
