Pine Knot TN - Celebrity writers for TheSpoof.com, Morse and BuckwheatsButt, passed through town last week to take advantage of local hunting this part of the state is famous for.
While both Morse and Buckwheat are veterans, Buck is a seasoned hunter as well and outfitted both him and Morse for the expedition in camouflage Carhartt hunting overalls, waterproof gum boots and Larry the Cable Guy, "Git-R-Done" baseball caps.
Buzz Wickman of the Dew-Drop-Inn said the two writers dropped by just after Memorial Day to stock up provisions for the hunt.
"They filled four coolers with NASCAR stickers on them full of beer, bought a couple quarts of bourbon, some skin magazines, a case of Dinty Moore pork and beans and half a dozen salted nut rolls."
"They said they were goin huntin for monkeys in the woods."
"We have good huntin round these parts, specially the bottom lands, but haven't had out-a-state hunters come here lookin for monkeys since some college kids passed through here after Woodstock in the late sixties ."
