In the midst of Whitechapel Bell Foundry's celebration of House of Parliament's Big Ben, a shocking lawsuit arrived from the colonies - it seems that Whitechapel is also the source of Philadelphia's Liberty Bell.
US observers of the work of Whitechapel have decided to bring suit against the bell foundry for its shoddy work.
"Not only did the Liberty Bell crack but since its 1776 casting USA liberty has cracked, crunched and crushed an enormous amount of freedom," declared USA Liberty Watchers. "When you sell someone a liberty bell you expect it to let freedom ring. That bell stayed silent through slavery, segregation, and a sad parade of discrimination against women, minorities and lots of gay people," USALW spokesperson, Leticia Fre-Dom Ring.
"We want our money back and a new bell! One that will ring out love between our brothers and our sisters all, all over this land, land, land!"
