Frankfurter, Germany (IP) - German scientists announced today that they will immediately begin work on a rocket for peaceful purposes based on the old V-2 missile design.
The new missile will be named the V-8 and will be constructed of recycled V-8 juice cans.
The missile will be powered by vinegar as the oxidizer and baking soda as the fuel supply and will develop enough thrust to attain Earth orbit.
German scientist were inspired by Costa Rica's recent entry into the space race with their new rocket which towers to a height of almost 700 feet and is composed of fortified balsa wood, cardboard, and aluminum.
The announcement of the new German missile has created a sudden rise in the value of vinegar stocks in the German stock market and panic buying and hoarding of vinegar, mostly by elderly women, has been reported by German news networks.
