Nostalgia, Candyland -- Long-smouldering Mount Jimmy erupted in Candyland today, imperiling the surrounding village of Lollipop Woods, which had to be evacuated. Mt. Jimmy spewed forth a rain of toxic jimmies on Lollipop Woods and set fire to many of the Lincoln Log houses.
"We quickly built some Lego cars and got the heck out of there!" gasped a scared Gingerbread boy. "The Lincoln Log houses burned to the ground before our eyes. It was unbelievable".
C.D.G.G (Candyland Department of Geology and Gumdrops) report that Mt. Jimmy is likely to continue to spew forth for several days, if not weeks. "We'll see a clastic flow, not unlike Jello," noted C.D.G.G rep Goldi Locks. "All residents within 30 miles should evacuate. Even those in Erector Set houses. This stuff is life-threatening".
Police noted all residents were in compliance with orders to evacuate, except three little pigs.
