UN HQ, New York - (Rotters): A groundswell of opinion is lobbying the UN Security Council for official recognition of David Irving and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's hystery revision foundation in the form on an International Holocaust Deniers Day based on a movement previously diagnosed as a hyrid form of Attention Deficit Disorder exhibited by relatives of Oswald Moseley's Blackshirt Party.
Campaigners say the move would give them parity with the official Shoah Memorial Day of January 27 but so far have only been given a nod in the direction of April 1st for their request.
Any official recogntion in the UN Calendar normally brings with it a rich pantheon of multi-cultural celebrations and plenty of cash from the organization's diversity enablement fund. For instance, a commemorative postage stamp, annual all-expenses-paid symposium and dinner, and an official royal visit from minor players in the House of Von Battenburg such as Camilla's head-lice removal practitioner.
There will be a vote on the lobbyists' request next week after consultation papers are shredded in line with previous attempts for official recognition.
