A breakthrough in Straw Donkey design has led to new hope for a revival of the failing Spanish economy.
The Institute of Spanish Technology issued this statement from its PortoKabin in Benidorm:
"The New Straw Donkey will revive tourism as it will fit in the proposed new BryanAir mini overhead lockers. We will become a noticeable international presence once more and be able to charge what we like for tourist drinks.
Since the introduction of controlled cabin luggage size our main Global export has dwindled. Our promotions department has commissioned Jon Cheese and Andrew Sacks to make a hilarious Basil and Manuel sketch of someone trying to fit an old style straw donkey into overhead luggage."
