Since the evacuation along the coastline of the gulf states, the shipping and trucking industry in the gulf has come to a complete stand still; all imports and exports of goods that used to sail in and out of the gulf ports have been reassigned to shipping ports along the upper east coast.

The work load increase for these ports has caused a demand for laborers and tradesmen, the likes of which hasn't been seen since President Franklin D. Roosevelt initiated the Work Projects Administration (WPA), back in April, 1935. The opportunity to find work has caused a mass migration of men and women to flock to the east coast, most of them striving to acquire enough money - o buy safe passage to other countries, to escape the turmoil that America has been thrown into.

Countries such as: Australia, the UK., and especially Canada have already closed their immigration services and are only allowing the elite, wealthy American refugees to cross their borders. Most middle or lower class refugees who can afford the ever increasing travel fares are swarming to the continent of Africa; who has not yet closed its borders.

Property values in all categories of real estate have sky rocketed in the contamination free zones and the housing market is beginning to bounce back for the first time in three years

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
