Miley Cyrus, the teenage pop superstar whose vagina has been relentlessly and remorselessly written about on the satirical news website, TheSpoof.com, has responded angrily by demanding a napology from the site.
It's not the first time a celebrity has asked for a napology from The Spoof's owner, Mark Lowton. Three years ago, former pop star Britney Spears also asked for a study of sleeping when she was the victim of a catalogue of insults when she publicly shaved her vagina.
She was told to "fuck off".
Cyrus has been the butt of what is uniformly regarded as "writers' wit" at The Spoof, although some have criticised the 'work' as blatant points-scoring, and little, or nothing, to do with news, satire, parody or even comedy.
For The Spoof, Mr Lowton said that his writers sometimes stepped over the line, and, on this occasion, he was inclined to agree that this had happened. He agreed to send Miss Cyrus a guide on the study of sleeping after he had finished editing the dozens of stories written recently about her muff.
