Al Gore's wife Tipper has told personal friends that this whole "Global Warming" thing is because her husband is going through menopause.
"It hits him at odd times", stated Tipper, to a friend of the family. "If there is such a thing as global warming, then it's a coincidence because Al has been going through this ever since he lost that 2000 election to George Bush."
Tipper stated that sometimes she will hear Al in the kitchen making a speech on why the icebergs are melting, to the family cat, Roof, who also seems to have the flashes.
"Al never sleeps with anything on and sometimes during the night he gets these awful sweats. I have to have the maid change our sheets every day."
She said that Gore stays awake at night, is often irritable and wakes her up screaming that George Bush is an A**Hole!
"The doctors have helped with treatments mthat include hormone replacement therapy, although this is not for every men usually. He's also tried some herbal remedies including soy foods and natural supplements. They told me to watch him close and if his penis starts to bleed, to call the doctor the very first thing in the morning as it might indicate a more serious problem."
