"Yes, We Still Can!", "Still Kicking Ass!" and "Keep The Faith, Try Smiling!" are all being considered by President Obama for his next campaign. And why not, as this president is great with words but small on actions. A man of words needs to pick just the right ones because, as everyone knows, most Americans vote with their emotions.
Although it's still very early in his presidency, Barack Obama is already kicking around a few slogans in his mind but must somehow come up with one to match "Yes We Can!"
So over the weekend, he gathered democrats from every state in the union and tried some out on them.
"We Shall Bail You Out!" received a loud cheer from the crowd. Next, "Shit On Mitt!" though negative, also brought a loud cheer and a lot of laughter. "*uck Old Huck!" brought even more cheers.
But after that one, President Obama became a little suspicious.
"Blast Their Ass!" Roars of cheers and laughter, flags and signs from each state waving. "Bite Me!" and even louder cheers. "You All Suck!", another roar and then things got suddenly quiet as Obama left the stage.
"This ain't working", the President told Rahm Emanuel. "No matter what I say, they cheer."
"You're a popular man, Mr. President", replied Rahm.
