Man Fails to Crash into Convenience Store

Funny story written by Greg Schwartz

Austin, TX - During a stunning display of driving ability this afternoon, James F. Harrison pulled into a convenience store parking lot and parked his 2004 Ford F-150 safely in a parking space, missing the convenience store itself by a good 15 feet.

Upon being interviewed after the incident, the Travis County resident attributes his parking talents to "an honest upbringing, and Pops making me practice before I got my license."

Bystanders were shocked when the mud-stained pickup failed to crash through the convenience store's plate glass windows, and instead rolled slowly to a stop between the parking space's straight white lines.

One witness with a cell phone recorded the whole thing. "This one's sure to be a hit on YouTube," he said, already uploading the video while he spoke.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
