Amid concerns of politicization, President Obama's eulogy for Sen. Kennedy makes no reference to Sen. Kennedy.

Boston - Amid Republican concerns about politicizing the death of Senator Edward Kennedy, President Obama today gave a 16 minute eulogy without mentioning Sen Kennedy, the Kennedy family or Kennedy's 46 years in the US Senate. Instead, Obama chose to give a Power Point presentation entitled "Seeds as Vehicles for Pathogen Importation."

After the funeral an Obama spokesman explained that "Teddy would have wanted it this way. To reduce the likelihood of politicizing this sad event we looked for topics or policies where Sen. Kennedy and/or his family had left no fingerprints. All we could come up with were seeds and photosynthesis. So we went with the presentation on seed pathogens."

Even though the Obama administration took great pains not to not politicize the death of Sen. Kennedy, conservatives were not appeased.

"Of course the death of Senator Kennedy was politicized" said talk show host Glenn Beck. "Not mentioning anything about the impact that the Kennedy family had over the years was blatant Nazi-like reverse psychology. Not mentioning Sen Kennedy during the eulogy was a transparent attempt to move us one step closer to totalitarianism and I for one am outraged."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
