LOS ANGELES - Melissa Rivers, the daughter of Joan Rivers has been signed to star as Monica Lewinsky in the Ermenegildo Carpagiani film The Story of Monica Lewinsky.
The movie is based on the Daffodil Devereux book, Cigars, Mouthwatering Pizza, and The Blue Dress. In researching for her book, Miss Devereux actually met with Miss Lewinsky on 14 different occasions and she received an email from President Bill Clinton.
Monica Lewinsky gave Devereux access to 17 boxes which contained personal letters, emails, birthday cards, a cigar band, holiday cards, and Dairy Queen coupons for half-price on a DQ Beltbuster Meal.
Devereux even was allowed to see several very intimate photos of Monica that were taken by secret service agent Taygun Cornwallis.
When Miss Rivers was asked what she thought about playing such an infamous political personality she smiled and said, that she had once portrayed Madonna in an off-Broadway play, so this would be a piece of asparagus cake.
Melissa was asked who will be portraying Bill Clinton and she replied that as of now, it is still between Matthew MacConaughey, Antonio Banderas, and Woody Allen.
The motion picture will be rated PG-13 since the film will incorporate the 'Big Blue Dots' format.
