Harrell Dean Phillips of Casey in Cocke County, Tennessee claims his favorite day of the year is not Christmas, Thanksgiving or even his own birthday, it's April Fool's Day.
From declarations like "Your shoe is untied" to a more rabble-rousing "GODZILLA RIGHT THERE BEHIND YOU, JOHN!", the majority of Harrell Dean's's dialogue has been and will continue to be propagated for his unyielding desire to shout "April Fool."
For this 53-year-old lifetime bachelor and grandfather, the first day of April is what he lives for year after year. "There are so many uncertainties in life, but I can always count on April 1."
Harrell Dean, an accounts receivable manager at Lindsaey's Grocery, then told the Spoof how last year he accused the one other employee of stealing petty cash and backed up his allegations with fictional video evidence of a look-alike he hired to make the gag realistic.
He then ran around the parking lot and yelled "April Foooollll! April Fooooggghh!!!.."by that time she had a dog turd in my mouth", related Harrell Dean.
"Oh yeah, she did get pretty riled and later beaded me with a vegetable marrow. But that wasn't nothing compared to Uncle Charlie Bratcher two years ago who cut off two of my toes after I told him his wife, Penny Bell, had died suddenly of a heart attack."
