Los Angeles - (AssoCIAted Mess): Executors acting for Chrstian Brando's estate have joined his relatives in a frantic bid to seize and destroy 1960s footage of the Oscar-winning actor and Bobby F Kennedy cavorting naked in a Bel Air swimming pool.
The move follows covert legal deals between the Kennedy and Brando families which were believed to be airtight during Christian Brando's lifetime.
The 49 year old, who died at the weekend of pneumonia after a rapid decline at the Seedy Signs Hospital in LA, was custodian of the film footage which gave him a kind of get-out-of-jail card whenever trouble came knocking at his personal door.
He gained custody the reels from his father after legal protracted tussles which eventually coincided with the suicide of his half-sister Cheyenne Brando.
On one occasion when he was facing a mandatory life jail sentence for the murder of Cheyenne's boyfriend Dag Drollet a complex plea-bargain involving potential release of the Bobby Kennedy tapes brought him a reduced six year manslaughter jail sentence.
A source close to the family has said this weekend that no one knows where the 1960s footage has been hidden.
"If it ever fell into the wrong hands it could spell disaster for the entire Democratic Party of the United States," a spokesman said today.
