Vancouver, Canada is to host this years "Bore Fest" which celebrates the dullest Canadian celebrities of the year.
"We've a top notch line up", boasts festival organiser Steve Meiner, "Alanis Moiresette and Dan Ackyrod will be there, James Cameron will be giving a speech, Mike Myers will be doing a 30 minute routine and lots more".
"Canada is top of the class when it comes to boring-ness - if there is such a word", said Meiner, "maybe it's the sparse landscape. Maybe it's the inbreeding. Heck, how should I know?".
Tickets for the borefest are being handed out in Hollywood by fellow Canadian's Pamela Anderson and Jim Carey. "People often forget I'm Canadian", said Carey, "although lately I haven't been funny at all so people have started to remember".
