Washington DC - (Ass Mess): The head of the National Nuclear Security Administration, Linton Brooks, has been dumped by US Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman after the theft of Polonium 210 from the Los Alamos Laboratory found its way into a lethal dose of cocaine that despatched ex-KGB turncoat Alexander Litvinenko to an early grave last November following a disastrous trick or treat tease outside a central London sushi bar.
Brooks had been in charge of the US radioactive toxins stockpile for a number of years while staff complained that shrinkage of weapons-grade Polonium had been dismissed by him as natural evaporation, same as steam in a sauna.
But following the confirmation of the presence of a micro-wave tracer pigment by UK cops investigating the Polonium 210 poisoning of former KGB spook Litvinenko, Brooks was grilled by his Energy Department masters and admitted a direct match to the missing radioactive toxin from the Los Alamos facility's storage silo.
Brooks now joins other desperados in the Bush Administration's shinking ship who have all resigned or been booted out very recently including personal attorney Harriet Miers, artificial insemination chief John Negroponte, US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeldt.
