An Antifa member is in the hospital after allegedly attempting to vandalize an electrical transformer. Police still don't know who this activist is, since the activist, who was admitted to the hospital as 'John Doe', refuses to give his name, and because the activist has severe burns on the face and hands. He also has arm and leg fractures due to the fall from the pole during this near-electrocution incident.
According to the activist, "I hate white power! I saw this white thing on the power pole spewing out its white power, and I had to do something. And look what it used its white privilege to do to me! Why aren't there more black and brown ones on the poles?"
Police are guarding the Antifa activist's hospital room, and will likely take him into custody once he has recovered enough to book into county jail.
Sgt. Philip Bronson says, "Our officers found this subject lying on the ground, apparently wounded, covered with burns and spray paint. There was graffiti on the utility equipment, and spray paint cans found nearby. We'll likely book him on vandalism and criminal mischief charges."
Hospital staff say he is likely to be hospitalized for at least a couple of weeks due to the extent of his burns and fractures.
