Hot off the smoking release of his documentary "Weed", Dr. Sanjay Gupta from CNN has decided to hook up with some buds and see the country. The good doctor will drive a salty snack delivery van cross country for the remainder of the year "to spread the word about weed and deliver some primo snacks."
Dr. Gupta has recently reversed his stand on the use of marijuana and now supports its use as a remedy for various conditions. He told the press recently, "I'm going to educate the American public about this drug, but also about these delicious fried corn snacks. I've got everything I need in the van, but I'm thinking a long stop in Colorado would be nice. Plus, I'd like to check out a few Phish concerts."
A spokesman for the snack industry said, "I'm cool with that."
The Doritos van to be used by Dr. Gupta is a fully customized version, with shag carpet throughout and an awesome sound system loaded with Grateful Dead concert bootlegs.
Cheech and Chong could not be reached for comment on this story, but will likely show up somewhere along the way.
