No one could tell it was coming yesterday afternoon at a Mitt Romney rally in Virginia. The Associated Press is reporting the crowd and the candidate looked up when they heard a giant "swish" in the air above the stadium. As the crowd and the candidate stared upwards and Romney's mouth went agape a big yellow bird flew over and in a pigeonesque fashion, let fly.
To the candidates credit he continued his speech with his usual smile even while retching. A reporter from The New York Times was heard to remark to a colleague, "Good ole Mitt, you gotta give him credit. It didn't change his stump speech one iota and he kept his accounting principles to the very end: Last in ---first out."
