According to World News Exclusive, Eman al-Obeidy struck a deal to pose nude for Hustler magazine. Al-Obeidy's mother stated that she is fine with the photo shoot for the magazine and "I hope it goes well". Obeidy's rep nor Hustler has confirmed the photo shoot has taken place yet, while other sources claim they are still in negotiation.
In an interview al-Obeidy explains her decision to post nude for Hustler. She complains of struggling to find a job in her new home of Washington and she explains that she desperately needs the $750K Hustler magazine has offered her.
She had received over a dozen letters from clerics demanding that she not visit any religious sites because she is not a virgin. The letters helped her make her decision to post nude on the nationally known magazine.
