Defence attourneys for the convicted killer Amanda Knox were today left mystified by her latest assurances of her innocence.
The courtroom in Perugia was packed this morning to hear Ms Knox assure jurors that she and her partner were innocent of all of the charges made against her and that she was the victim of wrongful arrest. Confusion then arose when she then insisted that she had never been to Dallas, was a lousy shot and could not possibly have been on grassy knoll as she was watching the motorcade from the sixth floor window of a school book depository building across the street. She then went on to deny involvement in the St Valentine's Day massacre, the Great Train Robbery, the Gunpowder plot, the death of Liberty Valance and Butch and Sundance: The Early Years.
As a result of these claims, she has now been advised to ask for a different defence attourney.
