Andy Murray was extremely upset when he lost to Nadal and saw his dream slip away.
When asked what he thinks happened he, apparently told reporters he had caught a glimpse of Pippa Middleton in the stands and had a hard time concentrating on the game after that. He tried to focus on the game and at one point seemed to be back on track when he caught a glimpse of Princess Beatrice taking her place in the Royal Box.
Andy went on to explain that he has always been fascinated by the Royal family and has posters of Kate and Pippa up on his bedroom wall.
Before each match he drinks tea from a commemorative Lady Di mug. This is a ritual which he had to forgo before today's match as his coach had left it behind at the hotel. Apparently Andy believed that seeing Pippa and Princess Beatrice at Wimbledon, would make up for not having tea with Lady Di...but it was not to be.
He was last seen searching for his coach with tears streaming down his face.
