The Alternative to Voting campaign is getting up steam and making major inroads into the electorate. The simple message is that the alternative to voting is NOT TO VOTE!
Currently the opinion polls are showing the Don't Vote campaign is in the lead, despite great efforts by Yes and No to take the initiative.
In recent elections the Don't Vote campaign has always been victorious and the same outcome is almost certain on May 5 - however to be sure find something interesting to do on that day: Make Love, See a Film, Read a Book, Do Something Useful - don't let everyone know you can't write anything more than X. If you don't look out you may even have to learn how to write 1 2 3 or more.
Hospitals are currently treating an increasing number of people with profound jaw ache. This is caused by yawning so much at the debates on the merits of No & Yes. How often do you need to state the obvious that Yes you want to have everlasting love and No you don't want to step in shit on the pavement left by a canvasser's dog?
The Don't Vote's campaigner - there is only one - is continually finding things not to do but by this exemplary behaviour is winning over many people to the great cause.
So - don't remember to vote on May 5th!
