Bristol - (Whodunnit): Claims that thousand of pounds in unpaid rent are behind a tense family standoff will see tragic Jo Yeates' landlord refused entry to her funeral tomorrow.
The weird-looking ex-public school lecturer remains defiant of his innocence and has vowed to 'sue the s***' out of police for wrongful arrest.
A pal of Jefferies said today a floral tribute sent by the retired teacher to Jo's chapel of rest 'had been returned'.
"He might as well have sent a bunch of poison ivy," aggrieved Bristol sources commented, "the family's having none of it until the cops' all clear."
Jo's flat has remained empty since late December after boyfriend Greg Reardon moved out on police advice.
Also vacant is the apartment next door which Jo accused Vincent Tabak shared with Tanja Morson.
The blond American also appears to be persona non grata from the church funeral ceremony on Friday.
"Tania's unlikely to show up tomorrow", one Bristol Ram pub customer reckons.
"Some very iffy skeletons might be in the Jo family cupboard, best lie low until the furor's died down."
