The Dutch architect had lodged with the women during the start of murder inquiries when weedy-looking Chris Jefferies was the prime suspect.
At the Bristol Ram pub tonight horrified drinkers learned how Aberdeen Road's Emily and Lucy Williams may have found and/or seen the damning evidence that finally nailed the Dutchman.
Tabak had been staying with the women following the success of an earlier alibi.
But a nationwide Crimebotch TV appeal saw the calls flood in about a missing pizza and that blue-grey sock.
"They must have something pretty gruesome to charge the guy with Murder One," worried drinkers said tonight.
Tabak will appear before a Magistrates Court on Monday.
