As Prince Charles and his drop-dead gorgeous wife, Camilla, arrived at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi yesterday, the President of the Games made an embarrassing mistake.
Whilst greeting the royal couple, Mr Mahatma Koat shook hands with the old mare and addressed her as Princess Diana. Prince Charles immediately began pulling on his ears, before he laughed and, somewhat unconvincingly, suggested that it was a simple enough mistake to make.
Camilla looked less than impressed and was hurriedly taken away to be saddled up for the first of the equestrian events she was running in.
Mr Koat was seen walking away with his white stick and guide dog. He later took his place in the Indian small bore rifle team, where he is not expected to finish in the medals.
