The police investigation into the bizarre death of an MI6 operative continues, albeit at a slower than usual snail's pace.

The body of the spook, who has not been named for national security reasons, was found zipped and padlocked in a 140 litre About Face bag. As his body was inside the bag, and the padlocks were outside the bag, detectives are leaning towards the conclusion that the spook was placed in the bag by a person, or persons, unknown. Well, no shit Sherlock.

This theory is further supported by the fact that the door to the spook's flat had been locked from the outside. Give those detectives a medal, I hear you say.

Detective Len Nobbler of the Yard said, "These cases are not like CSI. They are not solved in 45 minutes. We try to give the viewer more pleasure by spinning out the investigation over at least four episodes".

MI6 were contacted for a comment, but the person who answered the phone said that no such organisation had been heard of at that address.

Police continue to search for a couple who are of Mediterranean appearance, who may be transvestites and who are likely to have one more laptop than they really need.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
