image for Prince Charles launches 'i-pot'
Prince Charlies 'i-pot'. A load of old compost?

Amid much pomp and ceremony, Prince Charles has launched his new product today, the 'i-pot'.

A cross between a plant pot and an mp3 player, the 'i-pot' has been designed to provide music, specifically for your potted plants.

The 'i-pot' will be available from the Highgrove shop or web-site, at the special introductory price of £99.99 plus postage and packing. Discounts are available when purchasing two or more pots.

A Highgrove spokesman said earlier 'I think that it is well known that Prince Charles believes in the benefit of talking to your plants. He has also found that plants benefit from having music played to them. He has spent many months experimenting which plants respond to particular genres of music. It is our intention that our customers will be able to download music from our extensive music library, based on His Majesty's conclusive test results, in order to obtain the best results from their potted plants.'

So, it would appear that we should expect an increase in the number of downloads from the likes of The Stone Roses, the Lightning Seeds and anything by Robert Plant.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
