Westminster Today - David Cameron today made an important change to his cabinet, when he offered Mr Blobby the post of Chief Secretary to the Treasury. The post became vacant when David Laws resigned over his expenses and his successor Danny Alexander was embroiled in a mortgage scandal.
Mr Blobby MP for Crinkley Bottom who was elected in May with a majority of over 10,000 said, He was surprised David Cameron had noticed him, as if anyone could forget a pink and yellow giant.
Noel Edmonds a spokesperson for Mr Blobby said That the pink and yellow chap would be an asset to the PM and would certainly brighten up PMQ's. Mr Blobby had the experience Mr Cameron needs having got his 2 A levels and 3 Spirit levels when he was 25.
Harriet Harman the acting leader of the opposition said, He would make the cabinet top heavy with Eric Pickles in it as well. Mr Blobby when asked to comment said "Blobby Blobby."
