The Space Shuttle Landing has been delayed until 10:23 am on 21 April 2010.
Mission Control said that the delay was to allow a team of Vulcanologist, lead by Dr Spock, to transport themselves to Iceland as the Shuttle comes into orbit.
A spokesman for Dr Spock said that his team had been asked to assess the feasiblity of sharing out the hot air generated by the eruption among the three major candidates in the General Election.
When asked who he would vote for, Dr Spock refused to comment other than say "Liberal Democrat" which apparently is Vulcan for "they all look the same to me"
Further updates will be issued every 10 minutes as to when the next update will be issued about the next update as to when it will be safe to issue another update according to EU Rules
